Moray Council – European Structural Funds – Challenge Fund – Employability Project
On behalf of the Moray Community Planning Partnership’s Employability Moray group, the Moray Council is issuing a call for a Challenge Fund to take forward projects in the Moray area for an employability strategy. The Moray Council is the lead partner for this European Social Fund project. At least £35,000 of European Social Fund money is available, with a possibility of £95,000 being available (depending on circumstances).
There is an opportunity for organisations to use some of that funding for projects which fit the criteria and fit with local Moray strategies and other national priorities. Operations are to end by 31 December 2018.
It is important to note that any European funding received via Moray Council would only cover 50% of the eligible costs – so organisations would need to explain clearly where they would source the other 50%. Note that the match funding cannot be Private funds nor other European funding. You will need to supply a signed letter along with this application confirming that you have the match funding in place for the project.
The Moray Council are undertaking a Challenge Fund process in order to appoint organisations to deliver operations in Moray. Applications will be scored by a sub group of the Moray Community Planning Partnership’s Employability Moray group. For further detailed information of the Challenge Fund process which Moray Council are following you can look at the following Scottish Government website here.
Applications can be found here and must be submitted by 23 June 2017. Further information is available by e-mailing alan.macbeth@moray.gov.uk.
