Moray Growth Deal – Innovation from Tradition

Where: Williamson Hall, Duff Avenue, Elgin
When: 12 September, 2:00 pm-3:30 pm

tsiMORAY will be hosting a conversation about the Moray Growth Deal to share information and welcome feedback from the Third Sector.

The Moray Growth Deal is a regional deal designed to boost economic growth across Moray. It is a long-term plan centred around specific projects designed to transform the economy, address concerns around encouraging young people to live and work in the area, and address gender inequality in employment. It brings together Scottish and UK governments, Moray Council, partners from across the public and third sectors and private businesses. Each of these partners will be investing in a better future for Moray.

There will be a short presentation from David Moreton (Project Manager), Jim Grant (Head of Development Services / Environmental Services) and Councillor John Cowe who are responsible for developing the Growth Deal, followed by the opportunity to ask questions and to comment on the suggested approach and vision.

A national bullying survey in 2014 found that 48% of children and young people who were bullied told their parents, and 92% bullied on line knew the person bullying them.
