Ongoing Events

  • The Scottish Government is consulting on the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 - Community Planning Guidance and Regulation until 13 June.
  • Surveys will be ongoing at all 11 Moray Council library locations.
  • The Moray 2026 draft plan is undergoing review.
  • The Harbours Consultation is ongoing from January to June. 
  • The Children's Services Plan and Self-Directed Support consultations will be ongoing throughout the year. 
  • Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) ongoing engagement with interest groups (e.g. social enterprises, small businesses, etc.)
  • Police Scotland will be conducting ongoing online engagement activities.
  • Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Station Managers with responsibility for each area attend local area forum meetings on a quarterly basis.
  • The Skills Development Scotland (SDS) team in Elgin are planning a series of events to support people looking for work.  One popup event will happen every month from March-December 2016.  Example planned events: CV tips; local labour market information; interview skills and employer updates.
  • The Moray Council Secondary Rezoning Consultation and Admissions Policy Consultations
  • The Moray Council Legal and Democratic Services Taxi Fee Review: Community groups to be targeted –  taxi trade. To be completed ideally beginning of March. POC: Hilary Locker, tel: 01343 563023.
  • The  Moray Council's Trading Standards team will be conducting ongoing engagement via their Twitter and Facebook accounts, and sending out customer surveys to get feedback on consumer advice, money advice and welfare benefits service users.
